Cusat students get attractive placements

Students of the 50{+t}{+h}batch of the School of Management Studies of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) have received nearly 125 job offers from over 65 companies.

The highest annual pay package offered is around Rs.6.14 lakh, while the average annual salary touched the Rs.3.5 lakh mark this time.

A release issued here said that the number of offers had gone up by 20 per cent compared to the previous year. The students, who had received the offers, will pass out this year.

The recruiters include Tata Consultancy Services, KPMG, Deloitte, Aditya Birla Group, South Indian Bank, and Asian Paints.

Start-up firms also featured in the recruitment process this year.

School of Management Studies currently offers two-year full MBA programme with 120 seats and part-time programme with 30 seats.
